March is the month dedicated to raising awareness about colorectal cancer. Every year, millions of people are affected by this disease, and it is important to spread awareness about it. We need to make sure that everyone is aware of the symptoms, risks and treatments available for colorectal cancer.
At the same time, we should also recognize and support those who have gone through this journey as a survivor or caregiver. Raising awareness about colorectal cancer can help more people get screened early and increase their chances of survival. By understanding the importance of screening and early detection, we can work together towards reducing the burden of colorectal cancer in our society.
I am a colon cancer survivor and in coming days I will be sharing my experience about the journey. Colon cancer can affect anyone regardless their age or gender. So early screen can save your lives.
A bit about me, I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids and Stage IV colon cancer survivor who started on this journey since Feb, 2020.
